Nowadays there are a lot of discussions around how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) are going to impact the GRC world.
But what really strikes my curiosity, more than the theoretical discussions around future AI applications, is to learn how some companies already implemented such technology in their operations.
How to leverage AI to boost internal controls?
That’s why when I came across an article on how Pernod Ricard leveraged AI to boost their internal controls, I was keen on finding out more of what they did, how they did it and how this pioneering project improved their internal controls.
In this episode of Internal Control Talks, I interview Trajano Leme, Head of Internal Controls and Internal Audit for South America at Pernod Ricard.
Trajano is the mind behind this project. Thanks to his strong IT background as well as extensive GRC expertise, he was able to conceive Alex.
Alex is an artificial intelligence chatbot built with the IBM Watson technology and using a WhatsApp interface.
The project was very successful and delivered a number of extremely positive results to Pernod Ricard: from saving 60 hours of work per month to enhancing internal controls.
In today’s episode, Trajano will cover:
- How he identified an opportunity to leverage AI to enhance Pernod Ricard’s internal control environment
- The Practical steps he followed to implement the technology
- How he engaged different stakeholders on the project to ensure buy-in
- The framework he used to facilitate the digital transformation and overcome the objections faced during the project
- The first step you can take to start using AI and RPA in your company
- How to navigate the current offer of AI and RPA solutions on the market
Watch the episode NOW – and learn how to leverage AI to boost internal controls.
